With backgrounds as diverse as electrician work and corporate business, they've combined their skills to create a unique local enterprise that's as much about safety and learning as it is about fostering community ties.

Their journey into the world of swim schooling began after a conversation with a family member who owned a similar franchise. Inspired by the success and community impact they witnessed, they decided to bring the Jump Swim School's ethos to Diggers Rest. Working side by side, Brenden and Rebecca have found their partnership to be one of the strongest pillars of their business. "We compliment each other's strengths and always step in when the other needs support," says Brenden, detailing how they navigate the challenges of running a business together. Rebecca adds, "It’s about more than just teaching kids to swim; it's about building something meaningful together that really benefits our community."
Since opening their doors in January 2024, they've encountered numerous challenges, like unexpected flooding just before their grand opening. Despite these setbacks, their collaborative spirit has helped them manage and continue to grow. "Every challenge is a stepping stone, making our resolve to serve our community stronger," Rebecca notes.
Jump Swim Schools stands out by creating a boutique-like, intimate atmosphere where each child's and adult’s learning needs are attentively met. "We don’t just fill the pool; we make sure each session is about quality and personalized attention," explains Rebecca. This focus ensures that everyone, from infants to adults, feels comfortable and supported.
Their goals are ambitious yet deeply rooted in community service. "We aim to be the first choice for swimming education in Diggers Rest, especially as the town grows," says Brenden. They are already actively involved in sponsoring local sports teams and are looking at ways to collaborate with schools to enhance water safety education.

"We're always thinking about how we can offer more to our community," says Brenden.
